Our Personal Support Programme’s mission is to provide a safe place where members can access both emotional and administrative help relating to relocation to Switzerland. Given the war in Ukraine, there are many difficult situations faced by members of our Ukrainian community.
Whether these include anxiety due to family separation, the loss of friends and community, the loss of a professional career, or trauma due to relocation, we will assist our community in finding psychological and emotional support as necessary.
We have qualified, experienced psychologists available along with translators if needed. In addition, we provide administrative assistance to our Ukrainian community to help navigate the bureaucratic obstacles that may arise in relation to living in Switzerland.
We are committed to supporting our Ukrainian friends and equipping them with the tools they need to adjust to life in their new home.

One of the core elements of our programme is emotional support. The ongoing conflict in Ukraine has forced many to leave behind their homes, families, and careers, leading to significant emotional distress. Whether dealing with anxiety from family separation, grief from losing loved ones, or trauma from the experiences of war and relocation, our support system is designed to address these profound challenges.
Our team includes qualified and experienced psychologists who are ready to provide the necessary care. Understanding the cultural and linguistic barriers that might hinder effective communication, we also offer translation services to ensure that every individual can fully express their needs and receive appropriate support. Our psychologists work closely with community members to develop personalized coping strategies and resilience-building techniques, promoting mental well-being and emotional recovery.
Navigating the Swiss bureaucratic system can be overwhelming, especially for those unfamiliar with the language and procedures. Our programme provides extensive administrative assistance to help refugees understand and manage the various legal and logistical aspects of their relocation. From understanding visa regulations to finding housing and accessing healthcare services, our volunteers are here to guide and support at every step.
We offer detailed guidance on how to apply for permits, enroll children in schools, and secure employment. By providing this critical support, we aim to alleviate some of the stress and uncertainty that comes with adjusting to a new country, allowing our members to focus on rebuilding their lives.
We are deeply committed to supporting our Ukrainian friends and helping them adjust to their new home in Switzerland. Our comprehensive approach ensures that all aspects of their well-being are addressed, from emotional health to practical needs. By providing both psychological support and administrative assistance, we empower our members to navigate the challenges of relocation and build a stable, fulfilling life in their new environment.
Our Personal Support Programme is a testament to our dedication to the Ukrainian community. We understand the unique challenges they face and are here to offer the resources, support, and compassion needed to overcome them. Together, we can create a brighter future for all.
Relocating to a new country can be overwhelming, but you don’t have to face it alone. Our Personal Support Programme offers a safe and welcoming space for Ukrainian refugees to connect, share experiences, and find solace. With regular group sessions, cultural activities, and a network of understanding friends, you’ll feel at home even in a new land. Join our programme today to experience the comfort of a supportive community and the joy of reconnecting with your cultural roots.
