At the Ukraine Centre, we offer French courses designed to help you master the language effectively. Our small class sizes ensure personalized attention, allowing learners to develop their communication skills in a supportive environment. Our French courses are conducted in small classes of no more than 14 students. This ensures that each learner receives personalized attention from the instructor, making it easier to address individual learning needs and goals.
Our courses cover all essential components of language learning, including reading comprehension, listening comprehension, grammar, vocabulary in use, speaking, and essay writing. This holistic approach ensures that students develop a well-rounded proficiency in French.
The primary aim of our courses is to equip learners with the ability to communicate effectively in French. This class is for those who are comfortable with everyday French and wish to achieve higher fluency. The focus is on complex conversations, idiomatic expressions, and refining pronunciation.
Students will engage in various reading exercises that help improve their ability to understand written French. This includes reading short stories, articles, and other texts that are both interesting and educational.
Our courses include listening exercises to enhance students' ability to understand spoken French. This involves listening to conversations, audio clips, and recordings, followed by discussions and comprehension questions.
Grammar and vocabulary are integral parts of our curriculum. Students learn the rules of French grammar and how to apply them in writing and speaking. Vocabulary exercises help expand their word bank, making it easier to communicate effectively.
Speaking exercises are a core component of our French courses. Through role-plays, discussions, and presentations, students practice speaking French in a variety of contexts. This helps build confidence and improve fluency.
